     a. What structure is being used? How can you tell?
     Pyramid structure for interviewing goes from specific to general question - from closed to open structure.

     b. Restructure the interview by changing the sequence of the questions (you may omit some if necessary). Label the reordered questions with the name of the structure you have used.  (Hint: pyramid, funnel, diamond structure)

2. The following is the first interview report filed by one of your systems analysis team members: “In my opinion, the interview went very well. The subject allowed me to talk with him for an hour and a half. He told me the whole history of the business, which was very interesting. The subject also mentioned that things have not changed all that much since he has been with the firm, which is about 16 years. We are meeting again soon to finish the interview, because we did not have time to go into the questions I prepared.”


a. In short, critique the interview report. What critical information is missing?
 The interview not achieve the target.
The interview is take a long time.
The question answering is not answering  is not answering in the session.

b. What information is extraneous to the interview report?
 The should not ask for not related question in the interview such as personal thing and history of interviewer.

c. If what is reported actually occurred, what three suggestions do you have to help your teammate conduct a better interview next time?
Study the profile company or user before attend to interview.
Interviewer should know what is important data that they want know first.
Focus on what is important in the interview.




3. Jayson is a newly hired systems analyst with your group. Jayson has always felt that questionnaires are a waste.  Now that you will be doing a systems project for TiongNam Logistics Sdn Bhd., a national trucking firm with branches and employees in 20 cities, you want to use a questionnaire to elicit some opinions about the current and proposed systems.
 
a.  Based on what you know about Jayson and TiongNam Logistics, give three persuasive reasons why he should use a survey for this study.
For my opinion, Cab and Megatrucks should use questionnaire because this company have national trucking firm with branching and employees in 30 cities, so to many user will use the system in the future. System analyst can manipulate the data from bulk output get from questionnaire . Lastly, user should use survey for this study because by using the survey he can know the requirement of the user for the new project that to develop and get the problem was facing by user with existing system.

b. Given your careful arguments, Jayson has agreed to use a questionnaire but strongly urges that all questions be open-ended so as not to constrain the respondents. In a paragraph, persuade Jayson that closed questions are useful as well. Be sure to point out trade-offs involved with each question type.
This company better use closed question because data will be easy to organise and proses for generation precise and will get useful data. For this system, user will use this system come from many branch in 30 cities, so by using closed question, system analyst can cover all respondents easy and quickly. This question will help system analyst to get relevant data. The conclusion, as a system analyst, we suggest use the closed question for their survey.
